Effective June 28, Precision Terminal Logistics has been awarded operations of the Norfolk Southern Thoroughbred Bulk Transload (NS TBT) facility in Elizabeth, New Jersey.

The Elizabeth facility offers significant capacity with 160 rail spots, warehouse space, ground storage, and a certified truck scale. Ideally located within 10 miles of I-95, Newark Liberty International Airport, the New York Container Terminal, and NS-served ports in the NY/NJ area, it is well positioned to serve a broad range of customers. The site can accommodate aggregates, food-grade materials, liquids, lumber, steel, and other commodities.

“This new location builds directly on our recent opening in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, creating strong connectivity along the Eastern Seaboard,” said David Kearney, CEO of Precision Terminal Logistics. “Each new facility expands the connections we can make for our clients.”

Jason Hodge, PTL Vice President of Commercial Development, added: “We’re focused on giving our customers more options and better service through strategic railroad partnerships. Elizabeth is another important step in that direction.”
